The Challenge of the Wounded Healer

The raging flame of your heart, feeds, attracts and inspires more souls than you know.
-- Priya Kale

Those of us who are called to healing and activism need safety nets, safe harbor and spaces of respite to allow us to heal, to reflect and return to a state of wholeness to continue our powerful work in the world. When we fail to take care of our own needs we put our movements, our clients and our own lives at risk. The most power stand that you can take is a deep commitment to self-care as you strive to heal individual and societal wounds.

Call Healing Circle,Inc today at 404/755-4988 to make your counseling or coaching appointment. Re-ignite your passion for your work!

You may be a Wounded Healer if:

  • You have lost your passion for your work
  • Family and friends complain about your lack of availability
  • You cannot remember the last time you took time off for yourself (and the thought even frightens you!)
  • You seem to expend more energy with less of an impact
  • You are experiencing creeping resentment towards anyone with a need.
  • You feel anger because no one seems to notice your struggles
